A Chicago teen’s death following his snowmobile crashing head-on with a truck over the weekend has raised the Wisconsin death toll due to snowmobiling to 20 this winter.
The driver of the truck and plow was not injured. Charges are not expected against him.
The accident occurred when the snowmobile crossed the center line on a rural road near the Michigan border. Authorities think the snowmobile might have been making a turn and might not have seen the snow plow approaching because of a 5 foot tall snow bank.
